The trainees were lowest-ranking members of the secret organization called Ghost Cell during the Cold War. All of them were carefully selected by Ghost cell recruiters and were often ex-military and have a lot of military experience, but by standards of the organization they were just a fresh meat. It took them many months to undergo intensive training to become one of the full members of the secret organization. Among all others, they were all killed when Imperial Intelligence agent Cipher Nine infiltrated Ghost cell's secret base at the Dune Sea on the planet Tatooine with a task to eliminate the organization.
